CCA successfully completed a training workshop for volunteer supervisors of consumer rights protection on June 3-4 (the 1st session) and 11-12 (the 2nd session) in Wuhan, Hubei and Changchun, Jilin, respectively, to push forward the shared governance for consumer rights protection and take full advantage of the rich source of volunteers. The two sessions provided training to 170 attendees from consumer associations nationwide. Li Yuanguang, Deputy Secretary-General of CCA, attended the workshop and delivered a speech.
The workshop invited experts in survey/statistics and legal studies to provide featured trainings for attendees concerning the work of consumer survey, supervision on commodities and services and other areas related to the improvement of volunteer supervisory investigators. The attendees also shared experiences in how to improve the volunteer system and discussed in groups the Administrative Measures of Consumers Association on Volunteer Supervisory Investigators for Consumer Rights Protection (Draft Issued for Soliciting Public Opinions).
